Pre-Production Mold & Fixture Planning

Goldshield’s program management team will analyze your product specifications, part manufacturability, program budget and annualized volume requirements to establish a mold tooling and production fixture plan/package. To support client needs from concept to reality, Goldshield will assist in coordinating the design and pattern development phases of the mold tooling project. This will be done prior to leading the building and validation of the production molds and fixtures. This process has proven to deliver quality FRP composite molds ready for full-scale production.

Part/Component Prototyping

Part Prototyping is yet another component of Goldshield’s full portfolio of customer program services. Our cross-functional team of FRP composite experts will work in coordination with your organization to conceive, build, and validate a prototype part prior to full-scale production. Working alongside Goldshield Engineers and Project Managers, and utilizing the Advanced Production Quality Planning (APQP) protocol, the Goldshield team will validate the fit, form, and function of the design, and determine production viability of your desired component.

Mold and Fixture Development

Goldshield’s cross-functional team combines theoretical, technical and practical expertise in the development and building process of a specific mold. Utilizing durable, premium, no-shrink composite materials in the building of the mold cavity itself, and supported by a welded steel super-structure, molds built by our craftspeople enjoy years of service life. A premium mold allows Goldshield to produce a premium component.
